If you were here, I’d serve you some coffee and a bite to eat. I operate best with real life interaction because you see, I like people and their stories. I want to know where you came from, how you make your way through the world, and why you do what you do. It’s part of the reason I love photography and stories. I love shining a light on others and the meaningful work they do in the world.
I create photographs and stories of families, individuals and organizations that are authentic, honest, inspiring, and informative.
My journey to become a photographer and teller of stories is filled with rich life experience, like the birth and growth of my children, where I realized the only way to freeze time was with a camera. Then there was the understanding that my desire to blend my natural ability to relate to people with my love of art, composition and writing was real, and it could be expressed through a camera and a keyboard.
Why Work With Me?
I spent two decades working in health education and communications. That work helped me define my relationship building skills and sharpened my empathy, and ability to observe and reflect. Transitioning to photography and storytelling felt really natural to me. I took my life experience, my love of art and humankind, and combined them all together to create what I believe to be the best job on the planet!
